Masjid Ar Rukun is solely reliant on the generosity of the community. This generosity not only encompasses the monetary contributions, but also extends to the time and effort expended from our community. It is our volunteers who keep Masjid Ar Rukun in the best of health for the benefit of us all.  

To continue keeping our Masjid clean and comfortable for us all, we are always seeking those who can contribute their time and effort towards Masjid Ar Rukun. Some of the tasks at Masjid Ar Rukun that we need assistance with are:  

Daily/Weekly  

Vacuuming the carpets

Cleaning toilets

Sweeping the surrounds

Gardening

General tidying up of the items in the Masjid

Mopping the floors
 

Monthly Events  

Bringing food and/or beverages to share

Setting up (e.g. tables and chairs)

Cleaning up after the event  

Annual

Masjid Ar Rukun humbly requests you reflect on what you can do to help the Masjid, rather what the Masjid can do for you. Please make intention, lift your hands, move your feet, and assist Allah’s house in Rockingham. May Allah reward you many times over.
